Hugo Boettger becomes the director of the Praust sugar factory in Gdansk. Several production facilities are combined to form the United Sugar Factories. The Boettger family secures itself the majority shareholding.

First handelsregisterliche official registration of the company in Mainz with a branch establishment in Hildesheim called the Hildesheimer Zucker-Vertriebsgesellschaft. The sole partner is the Hildesheimer Speditions- und Lagerhausgesellschaft shipping and warehouse company.
Relocation of the headquarters from Hildesheim to Braunschweig and change of the company name to Zucker-Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH.
The company’s business is the molasses and sugar trade, as well as the distribution of the product of the Norddeutsche Zucker-Raffinerie Frellstedt.
Takeover of the company by Dr Wolfgang Boettger.
The Zucker-Vertriebsgesellschaft distributes liquid refined sugar, sugar cubes and granulated sugar produced at the Norddeutsche Zucker-Raffinerie in Frellstedt.
Relocation of single-serving package production to Northeim.
Purchase of the Vereinigte Couleur- und Sirupfabriken J.J. Reinboth + J.L.F. Lau GmbH, Stockelsdorf by the Zucker-Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH.
Construction of the Lage speciality sugar refinery (together with Pfeifer & Langen, Cologne).
The Norddeutsche Zucker GmbH & Co. KG (later: Nordzucker AG) becomes a partner of the Norddeutsche Zucker-Raffinerie in Frellstedt.
Relocation of the caramel colouring and caramel production from Stockelsdorf to Lage.
Move to the new administrative building at Waller See 104, 38110 Braunschweig, Germany.
30% investment in the facilities of the Norddeutsche Flüssigzucker GmbH & Co. KG in Nordstemmen and Groß Munzel.
